Brewer Yacht Sales

Over ten years of operating power and sailboats in New England and the Caribbean, in addition to experience in the financial world, provides me with a unique ability to serve clients-whether buying or selling.

Though I’m originally from the Litchfield area, I relocated to the Shoreline to increase my time on the water. My first venture into the "boating world” involved sailing a Tartan 33 from Mystic; through this experience I learned firsthand what boaters require. Seeking more challenge, I was soon hired as deck-hand, and then appointed to First Mate on "Voyager"— a 100-ton class schooner operated by the Clearwater organization. My time aboard “Voyager” allowed me to develop the critical skill needed to safely handle any boat in all conditions while sharing my passion for boating with people of all ages.

In 1995, I began my time at Hellier Yacht Sales. I also directed Island Packet Sales for nine years, specializing in an "all sail" environment; their products included Tartan, Island Packet, Jeanneau, and Catalina vessels, Lagoon catamarans, and brokerage yachts. With Island Packet Sales, instructing new owners in boat handling/docking became one of my specialties. I also became a member of the Yacht Brokers Association of America and earned several awards including "Best New Dealer".

I moved on in 2005 to Grand Banks, East Bay and Sabreline powerboats, thereby gaining additional knowledge and operating skills with product up to 65 feet. I believe my work with boat manufacturers to improve structure and engine concerns offered me priceless experience with understanding the capabilities of specific models.

After thirteen years of yacht sales, I proudly joined Brewer Yacht Sales in April of 2007 and presently work out of the Westbrook, Connecticut Sales office located in Brewer Pilots Point Marina. In 2008, I earned the “Rookie of the Year” award due to my integrity, extensive knowledge of products and mechanics, and commitment to a contractual process that protects all parties ensures customer satisfaction.
