In 2006 I opened the sales office located in Brewer Yacht Haven, Stamford, Connecticut.  I have greatly enjoyed my time as a broker, and won a “Back Cove Broker of the Year” award.  In addition, I am a proud member of Yacht Brokers Association of America.  Prior to joining Brewer Yacht Sales, I spent 30 years in the marine magazine business as an Advertising Director with “Sailing World” and “Cruising World”.  In 1989 I started Sailing Sports Marketing, a division of the two magazines that developed and promoted sponsored events such as the NOOD (National Offshore One Design) regatta series. In 1995 I moved to ShowBoats International, a magazine for larger luxury power yachts.

Throughout my life, I’ve enjoyed racing sailboats. My accomplishments in this arena include four Bermuda races, two trans-Atlantics and three SORC events before I was 24. In addition to my love of racing, I developed an extensive cruising background by spending time in the Mediterranean, Northern Spain, Portugal, Africa and the Caribbean. I also sailed to Cuba and delivered boats from Maine to San Francisco. Though I’m still active racing sailboats, I also own a Bertram; now, my experience goes beyond sailing. Through my varied experiences in the boating industry, I am confident that I can assist clients in choosing the boat that best fits their lifestyle.
