Some weeks ago I wrote to you expressing my great satisfaction in dealing with Clark Broadbent during the possible purchase of a boat, which, in the end, did not occur. After that deal collapsed, however, I stayed in close contact with Clark to seek his advice and recommendations about alternatives. And, as a result of the incomparable care, concern and interest he provided -- and after looking at six boats and making offers on three of them in two months -- we closed on an acquisition this past Monday.

This happy result probably never would have occurred had anyone other than Clark been involved. Over the two months we worked together, Clark became a trusted advisor and counselor who served me as a customer just as well as he served the sellers involved. His patience and good humor with all parties were key ingredients in making the deal happen. At the end of the day, I felt as though I had made an excellent choice and that I had made a good friend. Moreover, and this is from your perspective, Clark so impressed me that I have decided to entrust the boat to BYS for all maintenance and future berthing because of the quality of your organization as personified by Clark.

I also want to say that Hal Slater, the cobroker with Clark on the third transaction, ably reenforced the impression first formed by Clark. Hal was diligent and courteous on a number of occasions, and the two gentlemen together, each in his own way, represent Brewer Yacht Sales with distinction and effectiveness. You are fortunate to have them on your team and I am fortunate to know them.
