Rhapsody is an excellent example of this popular Ted Hood designed quality sailing yacht built to the highest standards by Bristol Yachts. The interior of Rhapsody is flawless in every regard. Her interior teak is finished with a hand rubbed satin effect varnish. Beginning forward is a private stateroom that furthest forward has an enclosed chain locker followed by a traditional v-berth with filler that stores conveniently above the berth when not in use.The upholstery is a blue fabric with white fleck. There is teak sheathing on the hull. To starboard is a hanging locker with a shelf on top; there is also storage above and below the v-berth. Natural light and ventilation are provided for via an overhead hatch and two opening ports. The forward stateroom has doors to both the main salon and the head. 12 volt electric fan.
Moving aft, the head is to port with a stainless steel sink, hot and cold pressure water, shower and sump pump. The toilet is a manual Raritan with holding tank and y-valve for overboard discharge. Storage is provided for in two cabinets above the sink and one below the sink. An opening port provides natural light and ventilation.
The main salon has a hanging locker with shelf and three drawers opposite the head to starboard; there are settees to port and starboard that also convert to berths via extensions. There is a large bulkhead-mounted dining table (with storage behind) that when not in use gives the main salon an open and airy feeling. Next to the dining table, there is a brass clock, barometer and tide clock mounted to the bulkhead. The cushions are upholstered in the same blue fabric with white fleck as the forward stateroom. Storage is provided for in bookshelves and lockers behind and below. The cabin sole is teak and holly (varnished) and all doors in the main cabin are louvered.
The galley is aft and to starboard at the base of the companionway and features a stainless steel sink with hot and cold pressure water and a three-burner Shipmate propane stove, oven and solenoid switch. Refrigeration is an isotherm cold plate.
