General Description
  • The Sabre 426 embraces the standards which have put Sabre's name atop the quality spectrum of boatbuilding for the last 30 years. Current Sabre owners and those who have followed the brand over time, will see details here which make it feel familiar. Details which make sense, which add to comfort, security and well being. Logical details that, above all, make each Sabre design a great safe and beautiful sailboat. But details from the past are just part of the story. Keeping up with technology has to go hand in hand with our desire to build the finest possible sailing yachts for our clients. The Sabre 426 hull and deck will be built using vacuum bagged, closed cell, cross linked PVC foam and structural E Glass, which will give her one of the strongest, lightest, most durable structures available today. Hull lines, underwater appendages and rigs were drawn by Jim Taylor Yacht Design. The deck, deck styling and interior were accomplished by the Sabre Design Team.

  • Inward turning deck to hull joint with integral teak toe rail
  • Bulkheads, berth faces, shelves and floor stringers laminated to hull to provide additional structural reinforcement.

Interior Layout

Entering from the companionway there is a U-shaped Galley to starboard. The enclosed Guest Cabin is to port with double berth and vanity sink. The Nav is forward of the Guest Cabin. It features a bench seat that faces forward. The Main Salon features an L-Settee (converts to double) to port and a straight settee to starboard. The dining table is bulkhead mounted with compass inlay and services both settees. The cushions in the main saloon are the optional Ultra Suede upgraded fabric. The Head is forward of the Main Salon on the portside with sink, vanity and separate shower stall. It has dual access from the Main Salon or the Owner's cabin. Owner's cabin is all the way forward with Island berth, ample storage and en-suite access to the Head. The Head is on the portside with sink, vanity and separate shower stall. It has dual access from the Main Salon or the Owner's cabin.
