This Hallberg-Rassy Rasmus 35 underwent a comprehensive professional refit in 2020, making her one of the finest examples of the model afloat today. Every major system from rigging and sails to electrical and interior lighting has been upgraded with care and precision. She’s turnkey and ready for her next adventure.

Highlights of the 2020 Refit

Mast & Rigging

• Mast and boom stripped to bare aluminum, welded, faired, and professionally sprayed with Awlgrip.
• All hardware removed, inspected, and reinstalled with dissimilar metal protection.
• New mast winch pads, winches, and halyard clutches.
• Spinnaker pole track and hoist system added.
• New halyard exits, sheaves, and internalized spinnaker bail/block.
• Tides Marine mainsail track installed.
• New electrical conduit and spreader boots.
• Complete replacement of standing and running rigging.
• New Genoa furler and reefing system.

Sails

• Quantum CXI-10 Tri-Radial Mainsail (100%)
• Quantum CXI-10 Tri-Radial Genoa (135%)
• Stack pack system.
• Original spinnaker in excellent condition.

Electrical & Lighting

• All interior lighting replaced (galley, salon, v-berth, chart table, head).
• Added lighting to engine compartment and hanging locker.
• Navigation lights upgraded to LED, with polished Starboard backing.
• New anchor/tricolor and deck/steaming lights, plus four blue spreader lights.
• New VHF coax, wiring, and antenna.
• Upgraded AC electrical system: new dual panels, additional outlets, and new autopilot.
• Air Conditioner rewired to new panel.

Anchoring & Deck Systems

• Custom G-10 riser block and new bow sprit installed.
• New anchor roller, anchor, rode, and custom bridle.
• Harken windward-sheeter mainsail traveler installed.
• New primary winches and lifelines with four opening gates.
• New compass and aluminum-framed dodger.

Engine & Mechanical

• Replaced exhaust riser, shifter, throttle cables, and control assembly.
• Replaced and serviced all major thru-hulls and valves (cockpit drains, head, A/C, engine).
• Head overboard system reconfigured with new seacocks and plumbing.

Interior & Teak Work

• All nine main salon portlights removed, polished, and refitted with new glass and trim.
• Cockpit teak panels made removable for easy maintenance.
• New exterior chart table and aft hatch board.
• Companionway converted from boards to doors for easier access.

Hull & Bottom

• Bottom soda-blasted to bare glass.
• InterProtect 2000E barrier coat applied.
• Three coats of antifouling bottom paint.
• Boot stripe repainted.

Head & Plumbing=

• Complete replacement of head, hoses, vent, Y-valve, and holding tank.
