Every so often a lovely simple boat comes along for sale, one that's been used, maintained and ideal for another family or newcomer to the sport to get into without spending a substantial sum. This is that boat.

In current ownership since 1999, and used predominantly as a day sailor in Narragansett Bay, BACCHUS comes with all the basic needs one may need from and introduction to sailing, from fenders, mooring lines, PFD's, to anchor.

She sports a roller furling genoa, a slab reefing mainsail with blue mainsail cover, a matching canvas spray dodger . Wheel steering, with a binnacle mounted compass and engine controls mounted to the same.

The only electronics of note are the presence of an older but functional radar, as well as a VHF radio and regular FM/AM radio.

The interior, even though showing its age is clean and in good condition. All the interior wood trim is oiled and doesn't show any scuffing or damage.

This Catalina 30 has an enclosed head, which doubles up as a shower cubicle. A small galley, with a two burner stove, double drain stainless steel sink and a small ice box.

BACCHUS, is currently afloat for the winter and may be easily seen. The owners are keen for her to be sold, so if this Catalina 30 is of interest do get in touch.
