Prout 38' Manta

Prout catamarans have a reputation of quality. They are proven ocean crossing vessels, sturdy, seaworthy and affordable with hundreds of circumnavigations. The mast is stepped further aft with an excellent sail plan for short handed sailing and balance. She has flat keels and relatively narrow beam for standard berths, easy haul outs and beaching. The Manta has a low profile providing low windage. A solid build with a solid forward bridge deck making for a rigid and sturdy structure with a large foredeck for working, playing and lounging.

Santa Maria is a work in progress. She has a solid structure, excellent rigging and twin Yanmars that run well. The gelcoat is in very good condition. A great platform at a great price for an able owner. She needs attention cosmetically inside with soft goods. Several leaks were found and addressed requiring some vinyl headliner and sides to be removed, please see pictures. Additionally the electronics could use updating. This is a great opportunity to own a great boat at the right price and finish to preference.
