The 2021 Monterey M-45 combines the open layout and versatility of a premium deck boat with an impressive level of comfort, storage and equipment for a boat of this size. Powered by a white Mercury 300 HP Verado outboard with only 93.6 original hours, this M-45 offers an inviting platform for cruising, watersports, entertaining or simply spending the day anchored with family and friends.

The cockpit and bow are designed around flexible seating and easy movement throughout the boat. Deep wraparound seating provides generous passenger capacity, while contrasting upholstery, diamond-pattern accents and stainless-steel details give the interior a decidedly upscale appearance. Terra SeaDek extends through the cockpit and swim platform, providing an attractive, comfortable and practical surface underfoot.

The cockpit places particular emphasis on versatility. A large multi-position aft lounge converts from conventional cockpit seating into an expansive reclining lounge and sunpad, while the portside seating extends forward to a companion seat with a repositionable backrest that creates a separate reclining lounge. Together, these seating arrangements allow the cockpit to transition easily from underway seating to a relaxed social space at anchor. A removable cockpit table provides a convenient gathering place for refreshments or casual dining.

Along the starboard side, the cockpit refreshment center incorporates a sink and faucet beneath a covered work surface, with a protective stainless-steel rail and cabinet storage below. The arrangement keeps refreshments convenient to the primary entertaining area without interrupting the passage between the helm and swim platform.

Forward through the center windshield walkthrough, the bow provides another substantial social and relaxation area. Opposing port and starboard lounges feature upholstered backrests, stainless-steel grab rails and recessed cupholders. The bow filler cushion converts the seating area into an expansive sunpad/lounge, creating a second dedicated relaxation space separate from the convertible cockpit seating.

Storage is particularly impressive throughout the M-45. Numerous compartments are incorporated beneath seating and within the cockpit and bow, allowing equipment to be distributed throughout the boat rather than consuming passenger space. For swimming, watersports and beach outings, the broad stern boarding area provides convenient access to the water through a telescoping stainless-steel boarding ladder. A pressurized freshwater shower is positioned nearby for rinsing off after swimming or a day at the beach, while a second freshwater spray is provided forward. Bow access further enhances the boat's usefulness when enjoying sandbars and waterfront destinations. The freshwater system is supplied by a 10-gallon onboard tank.

At the helm, the M-45 provides a clean, modern operating environment centered around a Raymarine Axiom Pro 7-inch multifunction display with chartplotter, sonar, depth sounder, integrated engine functions and updated 2026 navigation and detailed fishing charts. Mercury instrumentation and controls are complemented by Lenco trim tabs with position indicators and automatic retract. A dedicated pedestal helm chair with flip-up bolster provides flexibility for seated or elevated operation.

Entertainment is provided by an upgraded Fusion audio system paired with Rockford Fosgate components, including four M2 6.5-inch LED marine speakers, a 10-inch Punch subwoofer, five-channel amplifier and stern-mounted stereo remote. The system provides audio coverage throughout the boat and complements the M-45's emphasis on entertaining and outdoor recreation.

For additional comfort during longer days aboard, the M-45 includes an enclosed marine head compartment with a compact pump-out toilet and screened portlight—a particularly useful feature when entertaining family or spending a full day away from the dock.

Overhead, the white wakeboard tower incorporates an integrated Bimini top, providing shade across the cockpit while retaining the boat's open-air character. Onyx bow and cockpit covers provide protection when the boat is not in use.
