Contender 44' FA

2022 Contender 44 FA Fish Around

This 2022 Contender 44 FA Fish Around is an exceptionally well-equipped offshore platform built to combine serious fishing capability with the added comfort and accommodations of the Fish Around layout. Stored indoors, captain maintained, and ceramic coated, this 44 FA is equally suited for long offshore runs, extended cruising, tournament fishing, and family use.

Powered by triple Mercury Verado V12 600 HP outboards with approximately 800 hours, this Contender also carries Mercury Platinum Product Protection through December 2027. Full engine services were completed in September 2026, and Mercury Joystick Piloting provides easy low-speed maneuvering around the dock.

One of the standout features of this boat is the custom second station with full controls. Designed to fold down for trailering, storage, and service, it gives the visibility and functionality of an elevated fishing station without sacrificing practicality.

The equipment package continues with a Seakeeper 3, Phasor 5kW diesel generator, extensive Garmin electronics package, FLIR night vision, JL Audio, custom forward shade, dual-row seating, and SHOX helm seating updated in 2025. A custom MYCO cradle for high-and-dry storage is also included in the sale.

Broker’s Comments

This 2022 Contender 44 FA checks an unusually strong combination of boxes for a buyer looking for a large premium outboard boat. She offers the fishing capability and performance expected from Contender while adding the cabin, generator, stabilization, and amenities that make the Fish Around considerably more versatile than a conventional open center console.

The triple Mercury V12 600s with Platinum coverage through December 2027, September 2026 engine services, indoor storage, captain-maintained history, and ceramic coating are particularly noteworthy. Add the custom folding second station, Seakeeper 3, Phasor generator, Garmin/FLIR electronics suite, and included MYCO cradle, and this is a highly equipped 44 FA ready for its next owner.
