Schaefer 40.17' 400

This Schaefer 400 Sport is a clean and well-presented 40’ outboard cruiser powered by triple Mercury Verado 400s with only 135 hours. Designed for owners who want strong performance, modern styling, and an easy layout for entertaining, she offers an excellent balance between day boating, weekend cruising, and comfortable time onboard.

The cockpit is one of the standout areas of the boat, featuring teak decking, generous aft seating, a cockpit dining table, and a clean open layout that makes the boat feel larger than her size. The aft deck flows naturally into the helm and salon area, creating a social space that works well for Miami cruising, sandbar days, sunset rides, and relaxed weekends on the water.

At the helm, the boat is equipped with Simrad multifunction displays, joystick control, and a clean modern dash layout. She is also fitted with a Seakeeper stabilizer, adding comfort while at anchor or underway. The triple Mercury Verado 400 outboards provide confident performance, easier service access compared to inboard configurations, and a highly desirable setup for South Florida boating.

Below deck, the Schaefer 400 offers a bright and comfortable cabin layout with salon seating, a forward berth, modern finishes, and overnight accommodations. Her interior gives owners and guests the ability to enjoy longer days on the water with the option to stay aboard when needed.

With her low engine hours, triple 400 Verados, joystick control, Simrad electronics, Seakeeper, teak cockpit, spacious entertaining areas, and comfortable cabin, this Schaefer 400 Sport is a strong option for anyone looking for a stylish and practical 40’ express cruiser in today’s market.
